Sentir Present Subjunctive Practice

Sentir (to feel, to be sorry) in the present subjunctive: 14 free exercises with an explanation after every answer, plus the full conjugation table.

14 exercisesStem-changing e→ieB1 – B2 level
IWhat to watch for

The present subjunctive of sentir mixes both stem changes: the e becomes ie in the stressed forms — sienta, sientas, sienta, sientan — and becomes i in the unstressed nosotros and vosotros forms, sintamos and sintáis.

So the nosotros form is neither 'sentamos' nor 'sientamos' but sintamos. Use it after triggers of wish, emotion or doubt such as espero que, ojalá, temo que and es normal que, and after aunque meaning 'even if'.
