IWhat to watch for

Venir inserts a d in the future and the conditional exactly as tener and poner do: the stem is vendr-, so the forms are vendría, vendrías, vendría, vendríamos, vendríais, vendrían. If you know tendría, you already know this pattern — venir mirrors tener almost everywhere.

The phrase to take away is venir bien: me vendría bien un café, te vendría mejor el sábado. It means to suit or to come in handy, and its subject is the thing that suits you, not the person — so the verb stays in the third person while the pronoun changes.
