Pensar Commands Practice

Pensar (to think) in the commands: 14 free exercises with an explanation after every answer, plus the full conjugation table.

14 exercisesStem-changing e→ieB1 – B2 level
IWhat to watch for

Pensar is the textbook e→ie verb, and its imperative shows the change wherever the stress falls on the stem: piensa, no pienses, piense, piensen. The nosotros form moves the stress to the ending, so the ie collapses back to a plain e — pensemos, never piensemos.

That one form is the trap this page drills. The rest follow the standard rules: the affirmative tú command is the él form of the present, and the other three come from the subjunctive. Keep the prepositions in mind too — piensa en ello, no pienses en el examen, piense en su familia.
