IWhat to watch for

The present subjunctive of deber is regular: deba, debas, deba, debamos, debáis, deban — the -er vowel becomes a, just as in coma.

It appears when a trigger questions, doubts or reacts to an obligation: no creo que debas preocuparte, es injusto que deban pagar más. It also follows reactions to debts: me molesta que me deba dinero.
