Ver Commands Practice

Ver (to see) in the commands: 14 free exercises with an explanation after every answer, plus the full conjugation table.

IWhat to watch for

The tú command of ver is ve — spelled exactly like the tú command of ir. Ve la película means watch the film; ve al cine means go to the cinema. Only the words around it decide which verb you are hearing, and no accent or ending helps.

The other forms are regular subjunctives with no g and no stem change: no veas, vea, veamos, vean. Compare them with ir's vayas, vaya, vayan — the two verbs share a tú command but nothing else. A ver… is a separate expression altogether: it means let's see and never changes.
