Ver Conditional Practice

Ver (to see) in the conditional: 14 free exercises with an explanation after every answer, plus the full conjugation table.

IWhat to watch for

Ver is famously odd in the imperfect (veía) and short in the preterite (vi, vio), but the conditional is completely regular: ver- plus -ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían. Vería and veía differ by a single letter, and that letter changes everything — one is a hypothesis, the other a fact about the past.

Ver also means to see in the sense of to judge: yo lo vería de otra manera, mis padres verían con buenos ojos que… Those opinion uses are far more common in conversation than sentences about eyesight, and they are where the conditional does its real work.
