Seguir Conjugation Practice
Seguir means to follow (sigue las instrucciones) and to carry on or still be doing something: seguir + gerund (sigo trabajando aquí) and seguir + adjective (¿sigues enfadado?). Two changes stack up: the e→i stem change and the spelling rule that drops the u before o and a, so the yo form is sigo and the subjunctive siga.
e→i in the present (sigo, sigue), the subjunctive and the third-person preterite (siguió); gu becomes g before o and a: sigo, siga.
