IWhat to watch for

Mirar is regular in the preterite: miré, miraste, miró, miramos, mirasteis, miraron. The accent separates miró (he looked) from miro (I look), and miramos is the same in the present and the preterite.

It tells single glances and checks (me miró muy serio, el médico me miró la garganta), what was watched on one occasion (anoche miramos una película) and reactions: todos me miraron cuando entré.
