Buscar Conjugation Practice
Buscar is to look for (busco trabajo — no preposition, unlike English 'look for') and, with ir or pasar, to pick someone up: paso a buscarte a las ocho. It conjugates like hablar with one spelling rule: before e the c turns into qu, so the preterite yo form is busqué and the subjunctive busque, busquemos.
Regular in sound; c becomes qu before e to keep the hard c: busqué, and the whole subjunctive (busque).
