IWhat to watch for

The participle of poder is the regular podido, so the compound forms are straightforward: he podido, has podido, ha podido. Neither the o→ue change of puedo nor the strong preterite pude leaves any trace here.

In real Spanish this tense is overwhelmingly negative: no he podido dormir, no ha podido venir. It is the standard way to explain why something did not happen, and it is nearly always followed by an infinitive. Keep haber and podido together — todavía no hemos podido, never no hemos todavía podido.
